Equa Finance — how it works
The challenge

Businesses stitch together an accounting package, a payroll tool and spreadsheets for tax, and none of them know Nigerian tax law. Month-end means re-keying numbers between them, and every filing is built by hand.

What we built on their data

Equa has one double-entry ledger underneath everything. Invoices, expenses, bank reconciliation, procurement with three-way matching, stock, fixed assets, HR and payroll all post to it. The tax engine carries Nigerian rules and produces filing-ready reports, and auditors get their own workspace for queries and adjustments.

Equa replaces the accounting package, the payroll tool and the tax spreadsheet with one system. It shows each person what they need: a sole trader sees a clean ledger, a founder sees cash flow and invoices, a finance director sees consolidated statements and budgets.
