The challenge

Cooperatives keep members' savings and loans in ledgers and spreadsheets. Members can't see their own balance, loan decisions are hard to trace, and the treasurer's book is often the only copy.

What we built on their data

CoopEase puts members, savings, loans, repayments and reports on one record, and gives every member their own statement. It runs on a server inside Nigeria, and payment details are encrypted at rest, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

CoopEase runs a cooperative's savings and loans. A new cooperative is set up in minutes at its own name.coopease.com, with no technical work.
